About Labrador Retrievers of Standby Creek
Our Story
We are family-owned and operated business, my husband and I have been breeding Labradors for 7 years. Our passion for Labrador Retrievers started early in life as we both grew up with Labs and fell in love with their loyal and friendly nature. As our family expanded it seemed only natural for us to get a Lab pup. We started to research the breed more when our family dog started having hip problems and had to have surgical intervention on both hind legs. Since then, we have been dedicated to breeding healthy and happy Labrador puppies for families to enjoy.
Our Breeding Process
We take great pride in our breeding process. All of our breeding dogs are AKC Registered, Penn Hip certified, and clear on genetic testing for all breed specific abnormalities including Exercise induced collapse and central nuclear myopathy. We only breed Labrador Retrievers that meet our high standards for health, temperament, and conformation. Our Lab puppies are raised in a loving and nurturing environment and receive regular veterinary care and socialization.

Axel is our newest family member. He is a Charlie/Brodie pup and adopted all of his parents' best traits. You name it he loves it as long as he is with us all is right in his world. He is the first to jump in the lake and will retrieve for days! He is getting ready to start bird training with Ember and Zach.
Lady Charlotte of Ace and Piper "Charlie"
Charlie is our original Momma dog and she retired this last year. She is now living her best carpet dog life and running the rest of our pack.
